Successful week 1 - well done all!
Our Head, Christine Cook, began the week with a virtual school assembly. Pupils enthusiastically joined in and enjoyed being able to be part once again, albeit virtually, of the Chandlings community.
Overall, the first week back has gone well with lots of positive feedback from pupils and parents. Of course, there have been a few teething problems, but pupils in all year groups have embraced the new way of learning and given it their all.
One of the many highlights of the week, was the children in pre-prep learning how to make jam tarts. They watched a video of Mrs Dickinson baking them and then wrote the recipe down. Most of the children were then able to have go at baking these themselves to test the recipe. The result: delicious treats to enjoy during lockdown - well done all!
