Starting Reception is an exciting milestone for both children and parents.

At Chandlings Prep, we’ve created a warm, welcoming environment that feels like a second home. Our Reception classes, nestled around the charming Lavender Courtyard, provide a familiar and friendly atmosphere where children can relax, be themselves, and embrace the joy of learning.

Learning Through Play and Exploration

Outdoor Learning:
Regular access to the beautiful Lavender Cottage for activities like sand and water play

 

 

Nature Walks:
Supervised explorations of our extensive grounds and private woodland, nurturing a love for the natural world

We deliver a comprehensive curriculum covering both the Prime and Specific Areas of the Early Years Curriculum:
