Every child’s educational path is unique, and we’re here to help you understand exactly where your child fits within our nurturing community. While we aim to provide a tool that allows you to input your child’s date of birth to determine their year group placement, our experienced admissions team is always available to discuss your child’s individual circumstances.

We understand that modern family life requires flexibility, which is why our school day is structured to support various family schedules. Our doors open early with Breakfast Club from 7:30am (pre-bookable, charged service), followed by our complimentary Early Birds provision from 8:00am. The formal school day begins at 8:30am, when all children are ready to embrace their learning adventures.
Our younger pupils in Nursery and Reception conclude their day at 3:50pm, while Years 1-6 finish at 4:00pm. The learning doesn’t stop there, we offer a complimentary general Afterschool Club until 5:00pm alongside over 60 enriching activity clubs that change termly. For families needing extended care, our Late Afterschool Club runs until 6:00pm (pre-bookable, charged service).
Weekends are preserved for precious family time, reflecting our belief in the importance of balance in children’s lives.
Our approach to school life is designed to make every aspect as smooth as possible for families.
Our parent-run second-hand uniform shop operates during term time on Monday afternoons and Friday mornings, with special opening hours during the summer holidays, offering practical support to our school community.
Nutrition plays a vital role in learning which is why we provide fresh, nutritious hot lunches and morning snacks for all pupils. Our commitment to each child extends to their journey beyond Chandlings. We maintain strong relationships with leading independent senior schools across our region. Starting in Year 5, our Senior Leaders work closely with families to identify schools that will best nurture your child’s unique talents and aspirations. We provide comprehensive support throughout the application process, including examination preparation and scholarship applications, with additional pastoral care to ensure our pupils remain confident and positive during this important transition.
