Year 4 go on a Polar Expedition and visit India.

This term Year 4 have been treated to some inspirational talks about India and the Arctic by parents and grandparents at the school.

Dr Tracey (Katherine's grandmother) - gave an inspirational talk about her polar expeditions of the polar regions. She researched into climate change and encountered many hazards on her travels, such as frostbite, snow blindness, snowstorms and even polar bears!  Miss Previte (Y4 teacher) enjoyed putting on Dr Tracey's expedition clothes!

Dr Nagi and Dr Halder (Amrit's and Sienna's mothers) - gave a brilliant talk about India and shared some interesting things about India's culture and religions. The children loved dressing up in sarees and trying on Indian bangles!

Thank you so much to Dr Tracey, Dr Nagi and Dr Halder for coming in and sharing their experiences and knowledge with the children.
