Mini Books Challenge

At the end of last term, the children of Chandlings Prep were challenged to make a miniature book.

The creativity and talent evident in all the books, written and designed by children from Year 1 to Year 6, was astounding.  We received stories, poetry, a recipe book, alphabet books, and the world’s smallest joke book. Non-fiction books covered topics such as vaccines, tanks, art and swimming all in the miniature format.

There were two very deserving winners:

Rosy (Year 5) for her fabulous lifecycle of a butterfly; and Sid (Year 6) for his exquisite collection of three festive books inside a beautiful slipcase. Both winners received a kit to make their very own miniature library.

Thank you to everyone who entered this competition. We were so impressed by the quality of writing, illustration and design of your miniature books!
